International Cat Day – August 8th

International Cat Day was created by the International Fund of Animal Welfare in 2002 to celebrate our feline friends! One of the world’s most popular pets, domestic cats have a place in many of our hearts. Even if you’re a dog person through and through, you can’t deny that cats make for very entertaining YouTube content.

Social media is full of cat spam on a regular day, so brace yourself for August 8th as your feed will be particularly full of furry cats and kittens. Obviously, if you work in an industry related to pets and animals, this is a big day for your social media marketing. Take time to plan a campaign around International Cat Day and make some purrrrrrretty content (sorry).
