National Poetry Day – October 6th

Founded in 1994 by William Sleghart in the UK, National Poetry Day was created as a campaign to promote poetry and since its creation it has engaged millions with the beautiful art of poetry. Although originally created in the UK National Poetry Day also transcends to other countries.
